The Killers make it five for five on the U.K. album chart, debuting at No. 1 for the fifth studio release running with Wonderful Wonderful (EMI/Universal). Meanwhile, it's a third week at the singles summit for Sam Smith's “Too Good At Goodbyes” (Capitol/Universal).
Only Oasis, Coldplay and Arctic Monkeys have equalled or bettered the Killers' sequence of U.K. album chart-toppers; Keane scored five, including one EP release. So the American band are the only international act ever to achieve the feat, which they complete with 52,000 combined units. The run began with Hot Fuss in 2004 and continued with Sam's Town (2006), Day & Age (2008) and Battle Born (2012).
