Linkin Park Debuts 13 Titles on LyricFind U.S. Chart After Chester Bennington's Death

Following lead singer Chester Bennington's death on July 20, Linkin Park storms onto the LyricFind charts, landing 13 of the top 15 spots on the U.S. tally, including the entire top 10, and nine of the top 10 spots on the Global list.

Leading both charts is "In the End," a No. 2 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 2002. The song sees a 3,428 percent increase in combined U.S. and global lyric searches, according to LyricFind.

The LyricFind U.S. and LyricFind Global charts rank the fastest momentum-gaining tracks in lyric-search queries globally and in the U.S., respectively, provided by LyricFind (the global chart includes searches from all countries except the U.S.). The company is the world's leader in licensed lyrics, with data provided by more than 4,000 publishers and utilized by more than 100 services, including Amazon, Pandora, Deezer, Shazam, Microsoft, Yahoo, SoundHound and iHeartRadio.

Bowing at No. 3 on both charts is "Numb," which ruled Billboard's Alternative Songs chart for 12 weeks in 2003-04. Other Linkin Park entries on the U.S. tally include 2007's "Shadow of the Day" (No. 2); recent single "Heavy" featuring Kiiara, at No. 6; and "What I've Done" (No. 14), which ruled the Alternative Songs chart for a career-best 15 weeks in 2007.

The U.S. chart mainly welcomes tracks from older Linkin Park albums, including Hybrid Theory ("End"), Meteora ("Somewhere I Belong," "Breaking the Habit," "Numb") and Minutes to Midnight ("Leave Out All the Rest," "Bleed It Out," "Shadow," "Done").

Meanwhile on the Global chart, most of Linkin Park's entries are from the band's 2017 album One More Light, including the title track (No. 2), "Invisible" (No. 5) and "Battle Symphony" (No. 7).
