The song is the second No. 1 from her upcoming album, following "Love."

Lana Del Rey's "Lust for Life," featuring The Weeknd, the second song released from her forthcoming album of the same name, powered to No. 1 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart Wednesday afternoon (April 19). The first taste of the set, "Love," also hit No. 1 on the Trending 140 after its release on Feb. 19.

The Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart measures the real-time acceleration of conversation around artists and their music on Twitter.

"Lust" topped the tally shortly after its release this afternoon. After it premiered on BBC Radio 1, the song's official audio clip posted to YouTube, where it has jumped to 400,000 global views so far.

"Lust" doesn't mark the first time that Del Rey and The Weeknd have collaborated: she was featured on his track "Prisoner," from his 2015 album Beauty Behind the Madness, and on "Stargirl Interlude," from his 2016 follow-up Starboy.
