"Paris" collected 63 million airplay audience impressions (up 1 percent), 19.4 million U.S. streams (up 20 percent, boosted by the Feb. 16 premiere of its official video) and 41,000 downloads sold (down 1 percent) in the latest tracking week, according to Nielsen Music (along with a slice of chart points from club play).
Additionally, The Chainsmokers debut at No. 6 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs with their Coldplay collaboration "Something Just Like This," the former's seventh top 10 (and Coldplay's second), tying the twosome with Avicii, David Guetta and Zedd for the second-most after Harris (10). "Something" -- which, along with "Paris," is from the pair's debut full-length, Memories…Do Not Open (due April 7) -- starts with 3.7 million U.S. streams and 33,000 sold.
The Chainsmokers also dominate Dance/Mix Show Airplay, as "Paris" rebounds 2-1 for a second chart-topping week. Meanwhile, The Weeknd notches his sixth top 10 on the chart with "I Feel It Coming," featuring Daft Punk, which earns its third top 10 (12-9). The song is the follow-up to "Starboy," which reached No. 2 in November … during the record 20-week reign of "Closer."
A PLACE IN THE TOP 10: Martin Solveig solidifies a spot in the Dance/Mix Show Airplay top 10 for the first time in more than four years, as "Places," featuring Ina Wroldsen, climbs 15-10. It's the third top 10 for French DJ Solveig and the first for the Norwegian vocalist. Solveig arrived on the chart with "Hello" (featuring Dragonette), which led for four weeks in 2011. He has scored six total chart hits, including his second top 10, "The Night Out" (No. 6, 2012).
