Luciana & Dave Aude Say 'Yeah' to Topping Dance Club Songs Chart
"I'm grateful to all of the DJs and music fans," Aude says.
Singer Luciana and DJ/producer Dave Aude rise 2-1 to crown Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart (dated Feb. 25) with "Yeah Yeah 2017." The track was remixed by Alex Acosta, Pandaboyz and Tom Budin, among others.
Although the original "Yeah," credited to Full Intention Presents Bodyrox featuring Luciana, didn't chart on Dance Club Songs, it did reach No. 15 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay almost exactly a decade ago (March 10, 2007).
The new "Yeah" is Luciana's sixth Dance Club Songs leader and Aude's 14th, elevating him into two ties: with Enrique Iglesias for the most No. 1s among solo males, and with Lady Gaga and Iglesias for 10th place among all artists, dating to the chart's Aug. 28, 1976, inception as a national survey.

Upon learning of her newest No. 1, Luciana (full name Luciana Caporaso) excitedly told Billboard, "I feel very blessed and grateful right now. I am literally doing high kicks around my kitchen table as we speak! 'Yeah Yeah' is the track that started everything for me. I have always felt so passionate about it, so when Dave Aude said to me, 'Let's do a new 2017 version,' I knew it had to be right, and I think we nailed it. This No. 1 feels like the icing on the cake for me."
Aude also spoked to Billboard about his latest achievement, saying, "I'm thrilled to have hit No. 1 for the 14th time. I'm honored that my original songwriting and production have resonated as strongly as my remixes and am grateful to all of the DJs and music fans who have supported me throughout the years."
