Katy Perry is back with new music, and just in time for Sunday’s Grammy Awards. Hours after the pop star released her latest track “Chained to the Rhythm," featuring Skip Marley, the tune launched to the top of the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart.

The Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart measures the real-time acceleration of conversation around artists and their music on Twitter.

"Chained" was released at 12 a.m. ET on Feb. 10. Outside of her 2016 Olympic ballad “Rise,” Perry hadn’t released a new song since 2014. Similar to “Chained,” “Rise” also reached No. 1 on the Trending 140 chart on July 22. Perry also released a lyric video for “Chained” on YouTube, which has almost reached 1 million global views since its release.

Perry is scheduled to perform at Sunday’s Grammy Awards, where she will likely take the stage to sing "Chained." The song is slated to appear on Perry’s upcoming fourth studio album. She has yet to announce the album’s release date.
