The Weeknd rules for a 14th week, while Mayer hits a new high.
The Weeknd is the top musical act in the U.S., holding at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Feb. 11).
The Artist 100 (which launched in July 2014) measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
The Weeknd leads the Artist 100 chart for a 14th total week, with streaming accounting for the greatest share of his chart action (32 percent), as his hit single "Starboy" (featuring Daft Punk) ranks at No. 4 on the Streaming Songs chart (23.4 million U.S. streams in the week ending Jan. 26, according to Nielsen Music). His album of the same name leads the Billboard 200 for a fifth total (and fourth consecutive) week, with 56,000 equivalent album units. Follow-up single "I Feel It Coming," also featuring Daft Punk, adds to The Weeknd's streaming total, ranking at No. 36 on Streaming Songs (10.1 million).
