The mouse-headed DJ scores his highest-peaking track yet. Plus, moves for Armin van Buuren & Lodato.
Deadmau5 is back on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated Jan. 7, 2017) after a one-week hiatus, re-entering at No. 11 with "Let Go," featuring Grabbitz. The track, which debuted at No. 39 two weeks ago, arrived on YouTube Dec. 16, in time for the new chart's tracking period for streaming (Dec. 16-22). The song drew 3 million U.S. streams in that span, up 1,155 percent, according to Nielsen Music, with 94 percent from YouTube.
"Let Go" is now the DJ's highest-peaking track on the tally. Deadmau5 (aka Joel Zimmerman), while registering 10 chart hits since the Jan. 26, 2013, inception of Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, had previously made the top 20 twice, rising to No. 16 with "Phantoms Can't Hang" and No. 20 with "Infra Turbo Pigcart Racer," both in June 2014.
