Hot 100 Chart Moves: Alessia Cara Scores Second Top 40 Hit With 'Scars to Your Beautiful'
The song lifts 42-36. Plus, debuts for Dua Lipa and Machine Gun Kelly & Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello.
As previously reported, The Chainsmokers top the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Nov. 5) for a 10th week with "Closer," featuring Halsey, tying for the longest domination of 2016. Drake's "One Dance," featuring WizKid and Kyla, led for 10 weeks in May through July.

Alessia Cara, "Scars to Your Beautiful"
Cara collects her second top 40 Hot 100 hit, following her No. 5 breakthrough "Here," as "Scars" rises 42-36. "Scars" also reaches the top 40 on Digital Song Sales (41-29; 20,000 sold in the week ending Oct. 20, up 35 percent, according to Nielsen Music) and Radio Songs (41-30; 40 million airplay impressions, up 30 percent).
Dua Lipa, "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)"
The British singer-songwriter makes her Hot 100 debut at No. 72 with the chart's highest arrival of the week. The track topped the Oct. 1 Billboard + Twitter Emerging Artists chart and now also enters the Pop Songs airplay chart at No. 38.
Machine Gun Kelly x Camila Cabello, "Bad Things"
Cabello has found a new harmonizer, as rapper Machine Gun Kelly (aka, MGK) debuts on the Hot 100 at No. 80 with "Bad Things" with the Fifth Harmony member. Kelly earns his second Hot 100 entry (and first since 2012), while Cabello follows her first hit apart from 5H, the No. 20-peaking "I Know What You Did Last Summer," with Shawn Mendes. "Things," which interpolates Fastball's 1999 No. 20 hit "Out of My Head," bows at No. 18 on Digital Song Sales.
Meanwhile, Fifth Harmony flies 33-27 in its third week on Pop Songs with its latest single, "That's My Girl" (up 22 percent in plays).
