That rise also lifting the track 2-1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs. A 2 percent jump in digital downloads (to 33,000) adds to its chart points sum as well. For a fifth week in a row, “Broccoli” remains at No. 2 on Rap Digital Songs.
D.R.A.M. (an acronym for Does Real Ass Music) simultaneously scores his first top 10 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart with “Broccoli,” hopping 11-9 in its 11th frame, with a 6 percent increase in spins at the format through Sept. 11.
Over on the Billboard Artist 100, which blends album sales, track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media data to measure the week’s most popular artists across all genres, D.R.A.M hits a new high, leaping 74-64.
On Sept. 13 it was announced that D.R.A.M. and Lil Yachty will perform the chart-topper on the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards, set to air on October 4.
Lil Yachty’s ‘1 Night’ Sails: Meanwhile, Lil Yachty’s debut charting track “1 Night” climbs 31-27 on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop with a 25 percent hike in spins. The song first arrived in March, when it peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard + Twitter Emerging Artists chart, which measures the volume of tweets about new artists and their songs.
The 19-year-old rapper from Atlanta concurrently jumps 92-83 on the Billboard Artist 100.
