Veteran Australian comedy duo Roy & HG enjoy a No. 6 start with This Sporting Life (ABC/Universal), a double disc highlights package released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the show from which the album takes its name.
Dolly Parton returns to the top 10 with Pure And Simple (Sony), the country legend's 43rd solo album. It’s new at No. 9. Pure And Simple follows 2014’s Blue Smoke, which reached No. 7 to give the veteran singer and songwriter just her first top 10 Down Under.
Meanwhile, EDM act The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey’s “Closer” (Columbia/Sony) enters a third week at No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. “Closer” holds off a pair of tracks featuring Justin Bieber: DJ Snake's “Let Me Love You” (No. 2 via Interscope/Universal) and Major Lazer & MØ’s “Cold Water” (No. 3 via Mad Decent/Warner). Twenty One Pilots' “Heathens” (Atlantic/Warner) is at No. 4 and rapper Illy featuring Vera Blue’s “Papercuts” (Warner) is No. 5. The entire top five is unchanged from the previous week.
