Mendes' latest single, "Treat You Better," rises 14-12.

Shawn Mendes moves from No. 14 to No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Sept. 3) with "Treat You Better." The lead single from his album Illuminate, due Sept. 23, could become his second Hot 100 top 10, following "Stitches," which reached No. 4 last November.

"Better" blasts 18-4 on the Digital Songs sales chart, up by 66 percent to 61,000 downloads sold in the week ending Aug. 18, according to Nielsen Music, buoyed by 69-cent sale-pricing in the iTunes Store.

The track also jumps by 16 percent to 73 million in all-format airplay audience and keeps at its No. 11 high on Radio Songs.
