The star reaches a milestone with his latest view from the top.

Drake is the top musical act in the United States, topping the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Aug. 27) for a landmark 20th total week.

The Artist 100 measures artist activity across Billboard's most influential charts, including the Billboard Hot 100, Top Album Sales and the Social 50. The Artist 100 blends data measuring album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

Drake becomes just the second act to crown the Artist 100 for at least 20 weeks, following Taylor Swift, who has totaled 31 weeks on top, dating to the chart's July 2014 launch. Thus, Drake and Swift have combined to lead the list for essentially half the time since the ranking originated slightly more than two years ago.

Here's an updated look at the acts to spend the most time at No. 1 on the Artist 100 so far:

20, Drake
11, Justin Bieber
10, Adele
8, The Weeknd

On the Aug. 27 Artist 100, streaming marks the biggest share of Drake's chart points (41 percent). His album Views ranks at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, after 10 weeks at No. 1, while the set's "One Dance" (featuring WizKid and Kyla) places at No. 5 on the Hot 100, also after a 10-week reign. "Dance" drops to No. 2 after a record 15 weeks at No. 1 on the audio subscription services-based On-Demand Songs chart, although it drew a still-hefty 13 million U.S. streams in the week ending Aug. 11, according to Nielsen Music. On the overall Streaming Songs chart, it ranks at No. 8 (14.2 million).

Rounding out the Artist 100's top five, Twenty one pilots hold at their No. 2 100 peak; Rihanna rebounds 4-3; Justin Bieber climbs 7-4; and Blake Shelton bounds 12-5, as his album If I'm Honest returns to No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart.
