Drake logs a 19th week at No. 1, while Khaled rides his album arrival to No. 3 and The Chainsmokers' new single vaults the duo to No. 9.

Drake is the top musical act in the United States, topping the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Aug. 20) for a 19th total week.

The Artist 100 measures artist activity across Billboard's most influential charts, including the Billboard Hot 100, Top Album Sales and the Social 50. The Artist 100 blends data measuring album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

DJ Khaled Earns His First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart With 'Major Key'

As Drake holds atop the Artist 100, extending his record for the most weeks at No. 1 among men (ahead of Justin Bieber's 11 weeks; Taylor Swift leads all acts with 31 weeks on top, dating to the chart's July 2014 launch), streaming marks the biggest share of his chart points (40 percent). Drake's album Views ranks at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, after 10 weeks at No. 1, while the set's "One Dance" (featuring WizKid and Kyla) likewise places at No. 2 on the Hot 100 after a 10-week reign. Still, "Dance" dominates the audio subscription services-based On-Demand Songs chart for a record-extending 15th week.

Twenty one pilots hold at their No. 2 Artist 100 peak, while DJ Khaled blasts to No. 3 from No. 23, his previous peak. Album sales drive two-thirds of his rank, as he achieves his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales, as Major Key launches atop both tallies with 95,000 equivalent album units and 59,000 in pure sales, respectively, according to Nielsen Music.

Rounding out the Artist 100's top five, Rihanna retreats 3-4 and Adele keeps at No. 5.

Sia No. 1 on Hot 100, The Chainsmokers & Halsey Debut in Top 10

Along with DJ Khaled, The Chainsmokers enter the Artist 100's top 10 for the first time, soaring 24-9 (passing their prior No. 15 peak). Driving their overall 77 percent gain in activity is new single "Closer" (featuring Halsey, who re-enters the Artist 100 at No. 46; she previously reached No. 4 nearly a year ago when her album Badlands debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales). The track debuts at No. 1 on Digital Songs with 103,000 downloads sold and No. 9 on the Hot 100.
