If Everybody Looking starts in the No. 2 slot, it would secure the Gucci his highest charting album ever, surpassing the No. 4 launch (and peak) of The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted in 2010.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the new Aug. 13-dated Billboard 200 chart -- where Gucci Mane may bow at No. 2 -- is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard’s websites on Sunday, July 31.

Everybody Looking is Gucci Mane’s first studio album in five years (since 2011’s The Return of Mr. Zone 6) and was recorded over six days shortly after his release from prison in May.
As for the rest of the top 10 on next week’s Billboard 200 chart, it appears that Everybody Looking could be the only album set for a debut in the region. The rest of the top 10 will likely be comprised of holdover titles and albums returning to the top 10.
One of those albums could be Sia’s This Is Acting, which has a chance of jumping into the top five with around 30,000 to 35,000 units earned. The album debuted and peaked at No. 4 on the Feb. 20-dated list and fell out of the top 10 the following week. On the latest chart, dated Aug. 6, the album rose 12-11 -- the same week its single “Cheap Thrills” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (giving Sia her first chart-topper as an artist).
