The duo lands a second No. 1 from its album "Blurryface."
After ruling Billboard's Hot Rock Songs chart for 23 nonconsecutive weeks with "Stressed Out," twenty one pilots have been unseated… by themselves.
"Ride," from the duo's fourth studio album Blurryface, rises 2-1 to become the pair's second No. 1 on Hot Rock Songs, adding top Airplay and Streaming Gainer honors. The sunny track leads the Rock Digital Songs chart for a second week (46,000 downloads sold, up 21 percent, according to Nielsen Music), holds at No. 2 on Rock Streaming Songs (8.2 million U.S. streams, up 12 percent) and lifts 4-3 on Rock Airplay (12 million in rock radio audience, up 4 percent).
The Hot Rock Songs rule for "Ride" follows the song's seven-week reign on the Alternative Songs airplay chart (beginning April 9). It's also receiving increased attention beyond rock radio formats, reaching new peaks of No. 12 on Pop Songs and No. 19 on Adult Pop Songs. It pushes 21-17 on the all-genre Radio Songs chart (57 million, up 19 percent) and 22-15 on the Billboard Hot 100.
