Zayn's 'Mind of Mine' Debuts at No. 1 on U.K. Albums Chart

Former One Direction member Zayn entered the U.K. album chart at No. 1 today (April 1) with his solo debut Mind of Mine (RCA/Sony). Mike Posner tops the singles countdown for a third straight week with "I Took A Pill In Ibiza" (Universal Island).

Zayn's 'Pillowtalk' Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 

Zayn's album ended the week some 4,000 sales ahead of Adele's 25 (XL Recordings), which fell to No. 2. Blues stalwart Joe Bonamassa landed a No. 3 start with Blues of Desperation (Provogue) and British singer-songwriter Birdy came in at No. 4 with her third album Beautiful Lies (14th Floor/Atlantic/ Warner Music).

Posner's single sold 84,000 units to retain its crown, according to the Official Charts Company. Fifth Harmony's "Work From Home" (Syco Music/ Sony) climbed 3-2 to swap places with the former No. 1 "7 Years" (Warner Bros./Warner Music) by Lucas Graham. Sia rose 8-4 with "Cheap Thrills" (Monkey Puzzle/RCA/Sony).
