Haley Reinhart from Scott Bradlee and Postmodern Jukebox performs at L'Alhambra on March 12, 2015 in Paris, France.

The former 'American Idol' contestant continues a tradition started by Elvis Presley in 1962.

New generations can't help falling in love with "Can't Help Falling in Love."

Haley Reinhart debuts at No. 25 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart (dated Jan. 16) with her recording of the beloved love song. The former American Idol contestant's cover marks the seventh version of "Can't Help Falling in Love" to hit AC. Elvis Presley first brought it to the chart, for a six-week reign, in 1962; UB40's reggae reinvention was the last charting version (No. 11, 1993).

Here's a look at all the versions of the song (born as French ballad "Plaisir d'amour," in 1874) to reach the AC tally:

Peak Pos., Artist, Year
No. 1 (six weeks), Elvis Presley, 1962
No. 28, Andy Williams, 1970
No. 5, Al Martino, 1970
No. 44, Engelbert Humperdinck, 1979
No. 24, Corey Hart, 1987
No. 11, UB40, 1993
No. 25 (to date), Haley Reinhart, 2016

"Can't Help Falling in Love" has also been covered by countless other artists, including Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble, Brandi Carlile, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Eels, Chris Isaak, Richard Marx, Ingrid Michaelson, Pearl Jam, the Piano Guys and Kenny Rogers (while London Celtic/folk band Lick the Tins gave it an exhilarating uptempo makeover on 1987's Some Kind of Wonderful soundtrack.)

Haley Reinhart's 'Can't Help Falling in Love' Gets Intimate New Video: Exclusive Premiere

Reinhart's remake first found exposure via its placement in a commercial for Extra gum. Reinhart recently told Billboard of her intimate interpretation, "I wanted to make it sound as if I was talking to or whispering to a loved one next to me, that kind of vibe."
