Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself" (Def Jam/Universal), which had previously topped the U.K. chart for three weeks before Christmas, has returned to the summit to become the market's first No. 1 single of 2016. Adele's 25 (XL Recordings) begins a sixth week atop the album chart, but was only 6,000 weekly sales ahead of Elvis Presley's If I Can Dream (RCA/Sony Legacy).
Bieber's fourth aggregate week at the top with "Love Yourself" is part of another stellar singles showing for him, with the former No. 1s "Sorry" and "What Do You Mean" back up 3-2 and 5-4 respectively.
