After becoming his first No. 1 on the Hot 100, the track does the same on the airplay tally.
Justin Bieber celebrates his first No. 1 on Billboard's top 40 radio-based Pop Songs airplay chart (dated Oct. 24), as "What Do You Mean?" rises 3-1. The single likewise became Bieber's first leader on the all-format airplay/sales/streaming-based Billboard Hot 100 upon its Sept. 19 debut at No. 1.
(Check back later today to see where the song ranks on the latest Hot 100.)
Bieber had previously peaked as high as No. 2 on Pop Songs with "Beauty and a Beat," featuring Nicki Minaj, in 2013. He's notched five top 10s on the Nielsen Music-measured ranking dating to his 2009 debut. He tallied his prior Pop Songs top 10, "Where Are U Now" (with Skrillex and Diplo), which reached No. 6 in September.
