At roughly the one-third mark through summer, the collab with Charlie Puth has led the Songs of the Summer chart in each of the list's first five weeks.
Just past July 4th barbecuing, the race for 2015's top song of the summer continues to smolder. Not that there's any dispute so far as to the leading candidate: Over the first five weeks of Billboard's Songs of the Summer chart, Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again," featuring Charlie Puth, has ranked at No. 1 in each frame.
So, roughly a third of the way through summer, the rap collab, which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 back in March and reached No. 1 on the weekly chart dated April 25, continues to set the pace among summer's biggest hits so far. (The track has led the Hot 100 for 11 weeks running, leaving it a week away from tying the mark for the longest-reigning No. 1 by a rap hit all-time.)
