Plus, Dillon Francis & DJ Snake's 'Get Low' returns and new No. 1s for Ellie Goulding, Calvin Harris and Giorgio Moroder.
Madeon debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart with his first full-length album, Adventure. The French DJ also places three tracks from Adventure on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs: "You're On," featuring Kyan (No. 28), "Pay No Mind," featuring Passion Pit (No. 30), and "Nonsense," featuring Mark Foster (No. 36).
NEW HIGH FOR 'LOW': Dillon Francis & DJ Snake re-enter Hot Dance/Electronic Songs at No. 6 with "Get Low." The track, which first peaked at No. 13 more than a year ago, returns thanks to widespread new exposure. It's on the Furious 7 soundtrack, in Dodge spot related to the film and is featured in a Taco Bell commercial (starring a rejuvenated elderly couple), which premiered at the end of March. Plus, a new remix by Rae Sremmurd was added to the April 7 re-release of Francis' Money Sucks, Friends Rule album.
"Low" sold 35,000 downloads (up 251 percent) in the tracking week, securing its best sales frame yet, dating to its March 1, 2014 debut. The track jumps 8-3 on Dance/Electronic Digital Songs, marking a new peak in its 54-week chart run; only The Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" took longer to reach No. 3 (58 weeks). Additionally, "Get Low" collected 1.7 million U.S. streams (up 88 percent), affording it an entrance onto Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs (No. 12).
DJ Snake additionally appears on the Billboard Artist 100 for the first time in nine months, re-entering at No. 94.
BIG 'LOVE': On Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Ellie Goulding grabs her fourth No. 1 with "Love Me Like You Do" (3-1). The track halts Calvin Harris' six-week run at the top with "Outside," on which Goulding is featured. On Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs, "Outside" hits the top with the same positional move (3-1), marking the first No. 1 on the chart for both acts.
MORODER BACK AT No. 1: The legendary Giorgio Moroder celebrates his first No. 1 on Dance Club Songs in 15 years with "Right Here, Right Now," featuring Kylie Minogue (2-1). The famed Donna Summer producer teamed with Minogue, who counts her 12th No. 1 on the chart.
Moroder has last led with "The Chase," credited to Giorgio Moroder vs. Jam & Spoon, on March 25, 2000. In contrast, Minogue has scored all of her No. 1s since 2002. Remixes from 7th Heaven, Ralphi Rosario and Zoo Brazil, among others, help lead the M&M team-up to the pinnacle.
