Starling Glow
Starling Glow, fronted by Orange County native Liz Anne Hill, nears Pop Songs with the hooky, guitar-infused "Ignite," released on new indie label Trailblaze. The single follows the band's first chart hit, "We Are Infinite" (remixed by Dave Aude), which rose to No. 19 on Dance Club Songs last year. Grammy-nominated Billy Mohler (formerly of the Calling) is producing the group's forthcoming debut album. –Gary Trust (@gthot20)

Marlon Roudette
After hitting No. 1 on the official German Singles chart last year with the soulful dance/pop "When the Beat Drops Out," London-born singer Marlon Roudette has his sights set on U.S. success. The track from the son of songwriter/producer Cameron McVey (All Saints, Sugababes) debuts on the Dance Club Songs chart at No. 45. He's prepping his Columbia debut album, due later in 2015. –Keith Caulfield (@keith_caulfield)

Saint Motel
The bright, brass-based "My Type" by Los Angeles based Saint Motel is bubbling under Alternative Songs after racking 3.5 million worldwide YouTube views, reaching the top 40 of the Official U.K. Singles chart and scoring a synch in EA Sports' FIFA 15 soundtrack. The group recently signed to Parlophone/Elektra/RRP and will release its second full-length (and first major-label effort) later this year. –Emily White (@emwhitenoise)
