The superstar leads the list for a seventh week. Plus, a late legend debuts.

Taylor Swift keeps writing her name in that blank space atop the Billboard Artist 100 chart. Swift leads the tally for a record-extending seventh week.

Taylor Swift No. 1 on Hot 100 With 'Blank Space'

The Artist 100 provides the first weekly ranking dedicated to measuring artist activity across Billboard's most influential charts, including the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, Billboard 200 albums chart and the Social 50. The Artist 100 blends data measuring album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

Swift rules again, led by album sales, which account for 37 percent of her chart points, with her 1989 returning to the Billboard 200's summit for a fourth total week at No. 1. Digital song sales follow (35 percent), led by "Blank Space" (342,000, up 13 percent, according to Nielsen Music), the Hot 100's top title for a third week.

Below Swift on the Artist 100, Pentatonix rises 3-2, followed by Sam Smith (4-3), Meghan Trainor (5-4) and One Direction (2-5).

Meanwhile, late legend Bing Crosby enters the Artist 100 at No. 96, thanks largely to airplay of two of his Christmas classics. The crooner bows with 56 percent of his chart points from radio, as his iconic version of "White Christmas" ranks at No. 8 on the Holiday Airplay chart with 17 million in all-format audience (up 84 percent). His rendition of "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" additionally places at No. 16 on the survey (13 million, up 74 percent). Reinforcing the unpredictability of the Artist 100, Crosby -- who died in 1977 -- ranks between rising dance quartet Clean Bandit (No. 95) and rapper August Alsina (No. 97).

Jennifer Lawrence Debuts on Hot 100 With 'Hanging Tree'

Plus, the bow of James Newton Howard's "The Hanging Tree," featuring Jennifer Lawrence, at No. 12 on the Hot 100 translates to the composer and actress each reaching the Artist 100. They debut on the latter list at Nos. 36 and 92, respectively, due to the song's first-week sales of 200,000.
