On Billboard's newly-revamped Country Songs chart - which blends all-format airplay, as monitored by BDS; sales, as tracked by Nielsen SoundScan; and streaming, according to BDS - "Blown Away" ranked at No. 3 last week, its placement backed by 48 million in all-format audience and 62,000 downloads sold. Top country audience contributors for "Blown" during the Oct. 8-14 BDS tracking week are KKGO Los Angeles (2 million impressions), WUSN Chicago (2 million) and WYCD Detroit (1 million). (In what can only help strengthen its Country Songs standing, the track is also bubbling under Pop Songs and Adult Pop Songs. Pop Songs panelist WXSS Milwaukee leads all crossover reporters with 106 plays for "Blown" last week; it and two other songs (Alex Clare's "Too Close" and fun.'s "Some Nights") rank as the station's most-played titles.)
'YEAH'!: Bookending the Country Airplay top 10, Tim McGraw inks his 47th top 10 with "Truck Yeah" (11-10), his first Big Machine single and the lead track from his first album for the label.
McGraw's 47 radio top 10s pushes him past George Strait for the most such hits dating to the former's first week in the top tier (March 26, 1994), when "Indian Outlaw" rose 14-9 on its way to a No. 8 peak.
