Young Thug’s “Harambe” beats its chest all the way to No. 1 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 real-time chart on Friday (Aug. 26) following the release of the rapper’s new mixtape No, My Name is Jeffery.

The Trending 140 chart measures the real-time acceleration of conversation around artists and their music on Twitter.

The Atlanta native announced the mixtape’s tracklist on Instagram the day before its release, declaring, “I named the songs after all my idols.” Along with “Harambe”—named for the gorilla shot and killed by the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden in May after a child fell in his enclosure — the mixtape also features tracks named “Wyclef Jean,” “Floyd Mayweather” and “Swizz Beatz,” to name a few.

The song quickly climbed the Trending 140 chart after the mixtape dropped Friday, likely due in part to the popularity of the gorilla, who has been the subject of countless articles and memes on social media.

Additionally, Jeffery’s “Floyd Mayweather” rose to No. 3 on Friday, while “Wyclef Jean” (No. 6), “Future Swag” (No. 7) and “Guwop” (No. 8) also made appearances inside the Trending 140’s top 10.

The first single off the mixtape, “Pick Up the Phone,” already debuted at No. 24 on the Hot Rap Songs chart and No. 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 (charts dated Sept. 3).

No, My Name is Jeffery is Young Thug’s 16th mixtape and is his first release since March’s Slime Season 3, which reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 with 38,000 equivalent album units earned in its first week (chart dated April 16) — 22,000 of which were pure album sales.
