Solotech Buys Morris Light & Sound

Multinational sound and light company Solotech has acquired Nashville-based Morris Light & Sound, company officials announced Tuesday (March 23). Solotech's U.S. headquarters are in Las Vegas.

Morris Light & Sound is affiliated with music manager Dale Morris, who manages Kenny Chesney and Old Dominion with Clint Higham for their company Morris Higham.

“Our joint capabilities and resources enable us to significantly strengthen our footprint in the USA, and much more in Nashville, to the benefit of all our clients," says Martin Tremblay, president and chief executive at Solotech.

Mickey Curbishley, who serves as president of Solotech's live productions division in the U.S. and U.K. and Philip Giffard, president sales and systems integration division will oversee operations in Nashville as the two firms come together.

Morris Light & Sound company "has always focused on delivering quality service to our clients, and our team is excited to continue providing our expertise while growing as part of the Solotech family,” Zack Morris, chief operating of Morris Enterprises adds.
