Colbie Caillat, Emily Kinney, Josh Radnor, Betty Who and more have been announced for a new virtual concert titled the UnCancelled Music Festival. The event will bring musicians, fans and venues affected by the COVID-19 pandemic together for a virtual live music experience to help sustain and connect the global music community during this trying and unprecedented time.
The online festival is set to begin Thursday at 3 p.m. EST and will continue on a week-to-week basis. It will be hosted on virtual live concert platform StageIt, with multiple digital “stages” happening simultaneously. Stage lineups will be curated by select music venues, promoters and artists from cities across the globe. All will feature musicians who depend on live performance revenue to sustain their business with livestream sets from home.
Additional artists include Cailin Russo, Jukebox the Ghost, Kevin Garrett, JP Saxe, Ariel Posen, Josh Kelley, Mary Lambert, David Ryan Harris, Snail Mail, The Aces, MILCK, Ashley Hess, Grace Weber, Cautious Clay, Victoria Canal, Waxahatchee, Brian Fallon, The Marias, Beach Bunny and more. Independently owned venues curating stages include The Hotel Cafe in L.A., Rockwood Music Hall in New York, Piano Fight in San Francisco and World Cafe Live in Philadelphia.
