The music never stops for Dead & Company. The modern incarnation of the Grateful Dead announced dates for a North American summer 2020 tour on Thursday (Feb. 6), which will take them from an two-date opening stand at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado on July 10 and 11 to two-show stops at Boston's Fenway Park and Chicago's Wrigley Field.
The 17-date outing will also hit two other major league fields, including the Atlanta Braves' Truist Park and the New York Giants/Jets' MetLife Staidum. Tickets for the only dates the band will play this year will go on sale to the general public beginning Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. local time here.
The band -- which includes guitarist/vocalist Bob Weir, drummer/percussionists Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, as well as keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, bassist Otiel Burbridge and singer/guitarist John Mayer -- has once again teamed with sustainability partner Reverb; all projected emissions from this year's tour, including fan travel to and from shows, will be offset through Reverb's unCHANGEit Climate Campaign.
