Luke Combs’ February show at the Lexington, Kentucky, arena sold out in 12 minutes.

Rupp Arena announced Friday (Sept. 27) that ACM, CMA and CMT Award-winning artist Luke Combs’ What You See Is What You Get Tour set a new record for the fastest sell out in the Lexington, Kentucky, arena’s 43-year history.

The tour date went on sale to the public at 10 a.m. EST Friday and sold out in 12 minutes, beating the previous record of 13 minutes set by Paul McCartney’s Freshen Up Tour in June 2019.

“As Rupp Arena enters its 44th year, it’s very exciting to continue to break venue records,” said Oak View Group’s director of booking for Rupp Arena Brian Sipe in a statement. “Thanks to Live Nation, CAA, Make Wake Artists Management and of course Mr. Combs himself for playing Lexington on his 2020 tour. We look forward to celebrating this record-breaking performance with him next year.”

Combs’ What You See Is What You Get Tour, featuring special guests Ashley McBryde and Drew Parker, will play Rupp Arena on Feb. 14.

Oak View Group and Live Nation Arenas have provided booking services to Rupp Arena since 2018. During the last 18 months, some of the biggest musical acts in the world, including Justin Timberlake, Chris Stapleton, Paul McCartney and P!nk, were instrumental in helping Rupp break previous audience attendance and revenue records in its storied 43-year history.
