Elton John Adds Seven Shows in New York, New Jersey

Elton John, who was the top-grossing artist on the Billboard Boxscore 2019 mid-year report, has added seven new concert dates to his sold out Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour in New York and New Jersey. This comes after completing 11 sold out shows in the market in 2018 and March of 2019.

The new tour dates hit all four major arenas in the New York area with shows April 6-7 at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, April 10-11 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, April 15 at Prudential Center in Newark and April 17-18 at NYCB LIVE’s Nassau Coliseum on Long Island.

The Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour kicked off to a sold-out crowd on Sept. 8, 2018, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and includes hits like “Bennie and the Jets,” “Rocket Man,” “Tiny Dancer,” and “Philadelphia Freedom.”

"Elton’s music has taken him to many places, opened many doors and inspired many passions in his life," a release announcing the show explains. "The audience will experiences a rare glimpse into Elton’s life and the deeply personal meaning behind some of his greatest hits, with mesmerizing, never- before-seen photos and videos shown throughout the show from his incredible 50-year career."

Tickets for the new dates go on sale to the general public beginning Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. local time. American Express card members can purchase tickets beginning Thursday at 10 a.m. local time and a limited number of exclusive VIP packages are available.
