Hit the Carnival With LA's Cheridomingo in New 'Makeup' Video: Watch

Four-piece indie rock band Cheridomingo of Los Angeles has released a video for their new single "Makeup," out Friday across streaming services.

Led by singer Anthony Avina, Cheridomingo includes bassist Alex Gonzalez, guitarist Adam Dobrucki and drummer Chrys Kaplan. The four-piece indie rock outfit has made a name for itself in the LA music scene for their passionate performances mixing emotional vocals and anxiety-laden lyrics with high-energy sets and a little bit of that sweet, sweet early 20s angst.

The single is a follow-up to their May album Feelings and features the band's signature sound and aesthetic, transposing melancholy-filled melodies and a uptempo guitar-driven instrumentation through a relatively easy-going track anchored by the loneliness of crowded places. If you're into post-punk clowns and wistful coming-of-age moments with friends on carnival rides, this video could be for you.
