J Balvin is Deezer’s most streamed global artist of 2019, the streaming platform announced. The Colombian artist tops the list for second year in a row.

Overall, Deezer’s year-end report also revealed that Ed Sheeran earned two titles as International and pop most streamed artist. Ariana Grande is the most streamed female, while XXXTentacion leads the rap category, Drake leads R&B, EDM belongs to David Guetta, and BTS tops the K-pop category.

Plus, Anitta leads the Latin list, while J Balvin tops the reggaeton chart. Also, Daddy Yankee’s “Con Calma” with Snow is No. 3 on the most streamed songs list.

"Local music has completely smashed it this year! It's been a big one for Spanish-speaking music and the world is loving English and Spanish mashup tracks,” says Nigel Harding, Deezer’s vp of Artist Marketing.

With the announcement, the streaming platform also introduced #MyDeezerYear, where fans can also see their own musical year, favorite song, albums and much more.
