Amazon announced Wednesday (Nov. 7) it has launched Amazon Music for Mexico. Both tiers of the company's streaming service -- Amazon Music Unlimited and Prime Music -- are now available to customers.
Additionally, Amazon announced Alexa's launch for Mexico. Beginning in mid-November when Echo devices ship, customers will be introduced to new voice features in Spanish with Alexa, allowing users across both tiers of streaming to experience requesting music vocally and other voice commands.
Amazon Music has also announced a number of specially-curated playlists for Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers, including "Mexicanísimo," which features regional Mexicana acts; "Hecho en México," which offers a mix of modern and classic songs; and "#LoQueSuena," which is updated weekly with new music trending in Mexico.
