Rostrum Records welcomes two new members to its staff: Jamal Jimoh joins as vp, marketing and revenue and Yazid Britt as director, creative services and marketing. Both executives report to Rostrum GM Jonathan Partch.
In announcing the appointments, Partch said, "Jamal and Yazid bring a depth of experience, creativity and expertise that will help propel Rostrum through 2019 and well into the future as we continue our push to be the premier independent home for hip-hop and R&B. I couldn’t be more excited for them to be joining the team.”
Jimoh segues to Rostrum from Premier Music Group, where he supervised DSP alliances for a roster that featured AlunaGeorge, Channel Tres, Tommy Genesis, Runtown, Popcaan and Santigold. Prior to that, Jimoh worked in digital marketing at eOne Entertainment, handling projects such as Wu-Tang Clan’s The Saga Continues and En Vogue’s Electric Café. His previous positions include GM of Nick Cannon’s Ncredible Entertainment and manager of A&R research and promotion at Island Def Jam.
