Craig Morgan has returned to his former label home, BBR Music Group. The country singer has signed with Broken Bow Records, his previous record label home for more than six years.

Morgan was signed to BBR from 2002-2008 where he released early singles “Almost Home,” “International Harvester,” “Redneck Yaht Club,” “Tough” and “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” which reigned on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for four weeks.

“Craig Morgan and BBR made history together with ‘Almost Home’, notching the first Top 10 for both,” Jon Loba, executive vp BBR Music Group, said in a statement. “He is once again making his mark in music with the heartfelt song ‘The Father, My Son, and The Holy Ghost’ inspired by his late son Jerry. Our hearts are overflowing with joy that he has chosen to work with us once again as we welcome him home to the BBR/BMG family.”

The news comes after the singer released his new single, “The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost” on Aug. 30. His first new music in three years since losing his son, Jerry, in a boating accident, Morgan shares the grief he’s gone through following the death of his child and how he coped with the heartbreaking news on the heart-wrenching song.

“I am truly humbled by the response to the song so far and to my friend Blake Shelton for what he has done to honor Jerry,” Morgan said in a statement. “It’s incredible to reunite with the team at Broken Bow to share this song with radio and my hope is, it will be a help to those who need it most.”

Morgan returns to Broken Bow following previous signings with BNA Records and Black River Entertainment.
