"I started Synergy Artist Mgmt. out of my bedroom in Astoria Queens on a laptop in 2012," said Livanos in a statement. "The growth that it has seen has been tremendous and a lot of it is due to the talents of Zack. I never thought that the 20-year-old I hired would become someone very important to me in my business life and personal. I have so much respect for his talents and our yin/yang personalities really allow for all bases to be covered for our artists. I feel very grateful to have him in this company as he is an incredible manager. I am beyond excited for this next chapter that we get to do together, as partners via Alternate Side."

Added Zarrillo: "I started working with Evange when I was 20 years old and a sophomore in college. It's been an incredible nearly six years together as we've learned, grown and expanded as a team. Transitioning from Synergy Artist MGMT to Alternate Side is representative of the long future we hope to keep building as a home for strong, independent artists who want to control their own destiny -- backed by a team that fights tirelessly for those shared goals."

Livanos previously worked at 5B Artist Management, where she helped manage the careers of such rock and metal acts as Slipknot, Wolfmother, Trivium and Escape the Fate. Zarrillo is co-founder of Bad Timing Records and previously worked at Rocky Point Management before joining Synergy in 2013. He was promoted to vp at Synergy in 2016.

"We are thrilled to be expanding our successful relationship with Evange and Zack," said Gregg Nadel and Mike Easterlin, co-presidents of Elektra Music Group, in a statement. "They are two of the most forward thinking and creative artist managers around. This partnership feels like a natural extension and we look forward to developing the musical output of Public Consumption with them."
