Universal Music Publishing Group has signed DaBaby to an exclusive global administration deal, the company announced Wednesday (Nov. 20). For recording, he is currently signed to South Coast Music Group in partnership with Interscope -- a Universal Music Group label.

The rapper, songwriter and performer has had a wildly successful breakout year, including a Billboard 200 No. 1 album with KIRK and recent Billboard cover.

“A talented artist and songwriter, DaBaby has garnered hundreds of millions of streams and amassed a huge global fanbase," said UMPG chairman and CEO Jody Gerson in a statement. "With support from myself, our A&R team and Interscope Records, UMPG’s Ari Gelaw [UMPG A&R manager] developed a close relationship with DaBaby and South Coast Music Group to build this exciting partnership. We are looking forward to many great years of success with DaBaby.”

“I feel great about my decision to join UMPG," added DaBaby. "I’m looking forward to working with their team and taking my vision to new heights.”

DaBaby is currently headlining his own tour and recently starred in the video for "Hot Shower" with Chance the Rapper.
