El Dorado Festivals & Events (EFEI) and Murphy Arts District (MAD) in Arkansas have announced that Lisaann Dupont will be joining the organization as their new chief marketing officer. For the last decade, Dupont led communications, digital marketing, email and influencer strategies for Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, the Mother Church of Country Music.

Dupont will lead all marketing and public relations strategies for the non-profit organization. Murphy Arts District features the 7,000-capacity outdoor MAD amphitheater, the 2,500- capacity First Financial Music Hall and a 200-seat restaurant/cabaret The Griffin.

“Everyone feels that we are fortunate to have attracted such an experienced entertainment professional to lead our marketing efforts as we head into our third year. Her background in working with artists across all genres is a great fit for EFEI and MAD,” said EFEI and MAD chairman and CEO Terry Stewart in a release. “Moreover, Lisaann’s recent work with the national launch and promotion of the new Blake Shelton-inspired restaurant group, Ole Red, is a welcome bonus as we continue to redefine and upgrade the offerings and service at The Griffin Restaurant and Cabaret.“

Each fall, EFEI puts on MAD Music Fest, a two-day festival featuring a variety of artists. Headliners this fall included Walk the Moon and Brett Young. MAD also has plans to renovate the century-old Rialto Theater adjacent to the other facilities and add a visual arts center featuring an exhibition gallery and artist-in-residence quarters.

Since 2018, along with her role at the Ryman, Dupont has spearheaded all public relations and influencer marketing for the rapidly growing Ole Red brand for parent company Opry Entertainment. Responsible for grand opening activations, coverage on the popular restaurant has included NBC’s Today Show, CBS This Morning, Entertainment Tonight and E! Television. She was also instrumental in bringing the Opry brand to festivals such as Stagecoach in Southern California and Country2Country in London in 2019.

“Lisaann and the skillset she brings to the table will be instrumental as we continue to take this project to the next level of providing arts and entertainment to El Dorado, south Arkansas and the entire region,” said EFEI and MAD president and COO Pam Griffin in a release.

Originally from California, Dupont has previously worked for RCA Records, BMG Music, Paramount Pictures and Phillip Electronics.
