Warner Music Group's ADA Names John Franck Executive VP Commercial & Marketing

Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA) announced on Tuesday (July 30) that John Franck has been named executive vp commercial & marketing. In the newly created role, he will oversee the global commercial relationships, digital marketing and digital sales and strategy for Warner Music Group's global independent distribution division. 

Franck will report to Eliah Seton, president of independent music & creator services, Warner Music Group.

"John has built a reputation as a brilliant and creative thinker, a determined and process-oriented executive, and a warm and kind soul," said Seton in a statement. "His breadth of experience, along with his outstanding relationships across the digital platforms, will make him a tremendous asset as we continue to raise the bar in the services we provide our label partners and artists. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the ADA family."

Franck most recently served as chief marketing officer at 300 Entertainment, working with artists including Highly Suspect, Cheat Codes, Fetty Wap, Migos, Coheed and Cambria others. 

Previously, he was senior vp marketing & content creation at Entertainment One for more than a decade before joining Razor & Tie as head of marketing and label acquisitions. He also held roles at Sony Music and Elektra before that.
