Concurrently, the album's entire tracklist reaches Hot Rock & Alternative Songs.

twenty one pilots notch their third No. 1 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums and Alternative Albums charts, as Scaled and Icy starts atop both lists dated June 5.

Scaled and Icy arrives with 75,000 equivalent album units earned in the May 21-27 tracking week, according to MRC Data. Of that sum, album sales comprise 51,000, while 24,000 are via streaming-equivalent albums (SEA), with a nominal amount from track-equivalent albums (TEA).

The streaming count grants Scaled and Icy the biggest week for a rock album released in 2021. It's the best week for a rock album in its debut frame since Miley Cyrus' Plastic Hearts (39,000, Dec. 12).

Scaled and Icy follows the No. 1 debuts on Top Rock Albums and Alternative Albums for twenty one pilots' Trench (2018) and Blurryface (2015). On the all-format Billboard 200, Scaled and Icy opens at No. 3, marking the duo's third top three title. Blurryface opened at No. 1 and Trench at its No. 2 peak.

Concurrently, all tracks on the new album reach the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, led by first single "Shy Away" at No. 14 (after hitting No. 7). "Saturday," which was released in the week leading up to the album's May 21 arrival, follows at No. 21.

"Shy Away" spends its sixth week at No. 1 on Alternative Airplay and the all-rock-format, audience-based Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, while reaching a new No. 23 high on Adult Alternative Airplay.
