It’s his second Streaming Songs leader, following 20-week ruler 'Old Town Road.'

Lil Nas X scores his first No. 1 debut on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart with “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” which crowns the tally dated April 10.

“Montero” bows with 46.9 million U.S. streams in the March 25-April 1 tracking week, according to MRC Data.

It’s Lil Nas X’s second Streaming Songs No. 1, following “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus. The streaming hit first crowned Streaming Songs in April 2019 and eventually ruled for a record 20 weeks.

Between “Old Town Road” and “Montero,” Lil Nas X charted three other entries on Streaming Songs: “Panini” (No. 2, Sept. 28, 2019), “Rodeo” (No. 13, July 6, 2019) and “Holiday” (No. 25, Nov. 28, 2020).

Concurrently, as previously reported, “Montero” starts atop the multi-metric Billboard Hot 100 – again Lil Nas X’s first No. 1 debut and second overall ruler on the list, following “Old Town Road.”
