The song is her second leader on the list, after 'Bad Guy' in 2019.

Completing a journey over five months in the making (or around 400 years, given an assist is probably in order for philosopher René Descartes), Billie Eilish's "Therefore I Am" hits No. 1 on Billboard's Pop Airplay chart (dated April 10).

The song, released on Darkroom/Interscope Records, is Eilish's second Pop Airplay leader, after "Bad Guy" spent two weeks at No. 1 in August 2019.

"Therefore" reached No. 2 on the all-genre, airplay-, sales- and streaming-based Billboard Hot 100 chart in November. (Pop Airplay reflects weekly plays on over 160 mainstream top 40 radio stations.) It's her second-highest-charting Hot 100 hit, among four top 10s, after "Bad Guy," which led the list for a week.

"Therefore" previously sent Eilish to historic heights on the Alternative Airplay chart: On the Feb. 6-dated tally, it became her fourth No. 1, granting her sole possession of the most leaders among soloists in the chart's three-decade history.

Notably, "Bad Guy" and "Therefore" are the last two songs to top both Alternative Airplay and Pop Airplay. Panic! at the Disco previously achieved the feat with "High Hopes" in 2018-19.
