Tom MacDonald re-enters Billboard's Emerging Artists chart (dated Feb. 13) at No. 1, becoming the top emerging act in the U.S. for the first time, thanks to his new single "Fake Woke."
The track debuts as his first No. 1 on the all-genre Digital Song Sales chart with 14,000 downloads sold in the week ending Feb. 4, according to MRC Data. It also tallied 2.9 million U.S. streams, helping spark its debut at No. 96 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it's MacDonald's first entry.
Among debuts on the Emerging Artists chart, Langhorne Slim launches at No. 10 as his new LP Strawberry Mansion starts at No. 9 on Americana/Folk Albums (4,000 units), and Delvon Lamarr enters Emerging Artists at No. 12 as his new release I Told You So (billed as by the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio) opens at No. 1 on Contemporary Jazz Albums (3,000 units).
