The Alejandra Fernández collab jumps 2-1 in its ninth week.
As Alejandro Fernández and Calibre 50’s “Decepciones” hits No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart (dated Oct. 24), Calibre 50 captures its 17th leader and breaks away from a tie with Conjunto Primavera and Intocable for the most No. 1s in the chart’s 26-year history.
“Decepciones” jumps 2-1 in its ninth week and enters the summit thanks to 6 percent gain in audience impressions, to six million, in the week ending Oct. 18, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
“Decepciones,” which was written by Calibre 50’s frontman Edén Muñoz, first appeared as one of 11 tracks on Fernández’s Hecho en México, his seventh studio album which opened atop the Top Latin Albums chart (dated Feb. 29). The new version of the tune, with Calibre 50, was released Aug. 21.
