24kGoldn couldn't be in a better "Mood" after crossing off the top goal on his list: scoring a No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Mood" by 24kGoldn, featuring iann dior, hit No. 1 on the all-genre tally this week (dated Oct. 24). He first appeared on the Hot 100 last November when "Valentino" peaked at No. 92.

"Ain't no higher than this thank you to everyone who ever listened, this is just the start," he tweeted Monday (Oct. 19). Lil Nas X officially welcomed him to the No. 1 club by replying, "LETS F---IN GOOOOO."

"Mood" also becomes the first song to simultaneously crown Billboard's Hot Rock & Alternative SongsHot Alternative Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts this week.

24kGoldn (real name: Golden Landis Von Jones) also posted an Instagram TV clip and separate photo series (featuring his "Mood" tattoo) Monday morning that document what he calls "a great way to f---ing wake up." "I'm only 19 years old, I'm not even 20 years old! And we're on top of the world, No. 1 on the Billboard charts," he exclaimed while rocking his retainers. "I did not think this sh-- was going to happen this fast, if I'm being 100% honest with y'all. But I'm grateful as f---." Later in the video, he woke up "Mood" producers Omer and KBeaZy and took a celebratory dip in the pool.

Our October Chartbreaker explained in a behind-the-scenes IGTV video how he was banking on "Mood" to climb even higher on the chart. "Just watching this whole song climb has been incredible, from 84 up to No. 6. And I know we're gonna get that No. 1, too," he said at the time. "The song's come a long way, but this journey's definitely not over until we hit the No. 1 and stay there."
