Momney (real name: Jack Rutter, whose alias is a play on the name of Utah junior senator Mitt Romney), 20, recently signed to Disruptor/Columbia Records, sparked by the success of "Put Your Records On," which has surged on TikTok.

Rae's original recording became a crossover hit in 2006-07, reaching the top 10 on Adult Contemporary (No. 6), Adult Alternative Songs (No. 8) and Smooth Jazz Songs (No. 8), as well as No. 64 on the Hot 100.

Over the past four weeks, her version has earned over 1.1 million on-demand streams each week. Before then, the song had not cracked 1 million in any frame this year, although it was steadily drawing over 800,000 each week.
