Papi Juancho registered 15,000 SEA units; that equates to 21 million U.S. on-demand streams in the tracking week, a career high in terms of streams for Maluma. 11:11, its predecessor and his fourth studio album, registered 13,000 in streaming equivalent album units (translating to 17.4 million on-demand audio streams for the set’s songs).
Papi Juancho, which was released Aug. 21 via Sony Music Latin, was produced by The Rude Boyz (Kevin ADG and Chan "El Genio") and features guest appearances by Randy, Yandel, Lenny Tavarez, Justin Quiles, Ñengo Flow, Darell, and others.
It earns Maluma his fourth straight top five on Top Latin Albums which date back to when Pretty Boy Dirty Boy arrived at No. 1 on Nov. 2015.
The 22-track set was preceded by two titles on the Hot Latin Songs chart, which blends airplay, digital sales and streaming data: “ADMV” a No. 14 peak (July 11-dated list) and “Hawai” which surges 12-2 on the current chart.
"Hawai" also sees progress on Latin Streaming Songs (17-1) and Latin Digital Song Sales charts (15- 3).
Papi Juancho concurrently bows at No. 2 on Latin Rhythm Albums chart, Maluma’s fourth straight top five there.
