Los Dos Carnales’ Al Estilo Rancherón debuts at No. 2 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart (dated July 25). It’s the the San Pedro, Coahuila-based group’s first appearance on any albums chart.

The 14-track -- the band's second full-length studio album -- arrives with 4,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending July 16, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

The set is currently enjoying a hit single with "El Envidioso," which hits a new peak of No. 5 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart (dated July 25). The cut also lifts 49-47 on the overall Hot Latin Songs chart, which blends airplay, digital sales and streaming data.

In a statement to Billboard, the band says, “What joy brings us to start the day with news like this. We are very happy to know that so many people liked our album and that it debuted at No. 2. We really can't believe it. We never imagined that our work would achieve so much recognition. We thank life and God for these opportunities and blessings and our AfinArte Music team for their unconditional support."

The Regional Mexican Albums chart ranks the most popular regional Mexican albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

Out of Al Estilo Rancherón’s opening sum, almost all stems from streaming activity.  The set registered 4,000 SEA units which equates to 6.2 million on-demand streams for the album’s songs in its opening week.

“We have corridos in this album such as 'El Envidioso' and 'El Corrido De Panchito,' and the romantic tunes 'Ay Nomás' and 'Desde Hoy,' the band adds. “We are not used to recording this type of song, but we wanted to give something special to our female audience. We hope we can continue to take our norteño music to high places and that very soon we can conquer other countries.”

Al Estilo Rancherón concurrently debuts at No. 13 on the Top Latin Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums of the week across all genres of Latin music.
