Thanks to their EP "Music Is Medicine," they enter Emerging Artists at No. 21.

Orthopedic surgeons Dr. Elvis Francois and Dr. William Robinson, both based at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, drew attention recently after recording covers of John Lennon's "Imagine" and Bill Withers' "Lean On Me."

Now, thanks to their new EP, the singing surgeons appear on Billboard's charts for the first time.

The duo debuts at No. 21 on the Emerging Artists chart, thanks to its EP Music Is Medicine. The four-track release opens at No. 39 on Top Current Album Sales and No. 50 on Top Album Sales with 2,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

The EP by the pair (Francois has been recording and posting covers for over two years) features takes on "Imagine and "Lean On Me," plus remakes of Andra Day's "Rise Up" and Mike Yung's "Alright." Lennon's original "Imagine" reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1971 and Withers' "Lean On Me" spent three weeks at No. 1 in 1972.

Proceeds from the EP go toward the Center for Disaster Philanthropy's COVID-19 Response Fund.
